Dr. Sheeley believes in a rapport-based approach to therapy: mainly authenticity in communication and interpersonal development of relationships. Dr. Sheeley aims to remove stigmas and depathologize issues, focusing on outcomes over symptoms. His philosophy is that people are often unaware of their core values, or stressors have made them seem far too distant, and the role of therapy is to help build clarity and perspective. When building acceptance around the reality of problems facing families, and focusing on objectives that improve wellness, change can occur. The behavioral interventions, objectivity, and support found in the therapeutic relationship help lead individuals and families to their goals.

Dr. Sheeley is accepting therapy and assessment referrals for Children (2-12), Adolescents (13-19),  and Adults(19+).
