Dr. Felicia Andresen is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Combined Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Utah State University in 2022 and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2016. She completed her doctoral internship at Portland Veterans Affairs (VA) in 2022. For the next four years, she continued to work in the outpatient mental health clinic at Portland VA as a staff psychologist. She was also a member of the Psychology Training Committee and provided training and clinical supervision for doctoral interns. She specializes in trauma-informed care for adults and has experience with high-risk and complex behavioral health issues.
Dr. Andresen provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults navigating life transitions, stress, trauma, and relational challenges. Her therapeutic style is authentic, personable, and strengths-based, grounded in creating a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. As a U.S. military Veteran, she brings a deep appreciation for resilience, cultural humility, and the complex ways lived experience shapes an individual’s mental health. She is committed to honoring each person’s story and working together to build a path forward that aligns with their values and goals. She is passionate about helping individuals better understand and manage their internal experiences and to interact with the world around them in a fulfilling, practical way.
Areas of clinical interest: trauma, depression, anxiety, panic, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal and institutional betrayal, stress, phase of life transitions, grief, interpersonal difficulty.
Dr. Andresen is currently taking in-person and telehealth referrals for adults (18 and up).
