Katie Flanagan is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in evidence-based therapies designed to address even the most complex clinical needs. She has honed her expertise in CBT, ACT, IFS, DBT, and Radically Open DBT, particularly for clients with perfectionist traits or overcontrolled temperaments who struggle with social connection. Her passion lies in helping individuals who’ve tried other therapeutic approaches without seeing the lasting changes they hoped for.
Through careful assessment and a tailored treatment plan, she focuses on uncovering the root issues that often go unnoticed in other therapeutic approaches. By combining her specialized training with a deep commitment to understanding each client’s unique experiences, she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where true growth can happen. Whether you’re grappling with persistent anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles—or you simply feel “stuck”—her goal is to help you reconnect with your genuine self and develop healthier ways of navigating life. By drawing on the best evidence-based methods and her experience with high-risk or complex cases, she’ll collaborate with you to create a path toward real, lasting change.
Couples Therapy
Katie recognizes that our most profound struggles—and our greatest growth—often happen in the context of our relationships. In addition to individual therapy focused on building deep connection to self and others, she is passionate about working with couples using the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. This evidence-based approach helps partners build empathy, understanding, and learn practical tools to navigate conflicts, creating a foundation for lasting, meaningful connection.
